My Engineering Journey

I joined QUT’s Formula Student team as a first year and been a part of it ever since. Over the years here’s a showcase of what I’ve done on the team in my time.

2023: First Year of Engineering

During 2023 I was getting my head around university life and learning the ropes of CFD and carbon fibre manufacturing

In this year we manufactured the entirety of our QEV4 Aerodynamics package from scratch where I was a part of creating and preparing the moulds required. We then used wet-laying and compression moulded techniques to create all the aerodynamic components

In year 12 after being rejected by the air force I decided that I wanted to get into Formula 1 as an aerodynamics engineer. Then one day on Instagram I saw an account by the name of QUT Motorsports. Then I decided I was going to QUT.
